For the past week I have been off school on work experience here at Urban Media. It has been an interesting and enlightening week in which I have discovered what it is like to be in a working environment.

The atmosphere here is really relaxed but professional at the same time. Everyone was really friendly and willing to help if I needed it. I have always been kept busy with something to do but never too much work so that I struggle to complete it.

Some of my tasks included: Designing a logo for a team in the Urban Allstar Rally, Designing two different designs to go in some mouse mats, creating some designs for the van (Urban Allstar Rally car), doing the designs in a different colour scheme, and finally, learning about search engine optimisation.

I have loved the week here from start to finish, throughout the week I have never been uncomfortable or worried about anything because everyone is so helpful. This week has opened a new window for me and I would consider web design as a career in later life.
