Micronics specialise in the design and manufacture of ultrasonic, clamp-on, non-invasive, flowmeters and channel meters.

Problem:

Micronics managed their website successfully in-house, but wanted to make more use of the internet to promote their business both at home and abroad. Despite external advice, the website was not grasping the opportunity presented by search engines in such a niche area. This was leading to growing Pay per Click spend. Micronics realised that long term success meant being at the top of the natural listings across various search engines in multiple countries.

Solution:

Urban Media advised the site would need a fresh structure, in order to reach sustainable first page listings. We were able to demonstrate from previous experience that separate sites for each country should be used to make full use of internet marketing opportunities and create better conversion rates from international visitors. By devising a standard layout, the process of adding new language sites has been made simple. All sites have been built on the same basic architecture and therefore provide excellent search engine positions throughout the world in their native language.
