This has been my first week here at Urban Media. I have already learnt several new skills which I implement on a daily basis! One of my tasks this week was to set up and develop a Twitter account for one of our clients. Who thought work could be so interesting!

The atmosphere here is really relaxed but professional at the same time. Everyone is really friendly and willing to help if I need it or have a question. There is always work to be done and no two jobs are the same which really keeps things different and interesting.

A lot of the work I have been doing is based around search engine optimisation and the intricacies that are involved with optimising a website. The great part about the job is I am not only learning what I need to know to do my job but more! It really is a great place to work and I am thoroughly looking forward to my time at the company in the future and expanding my job role into other sections.

Not once have I felt uncomfortable or unable to ask for help with tasks and it is the perfect environment for developing both a career and as a person as well.
